1. Service description

Fieldwright is a software service provided by JobBuddy, LLC that helps trade contractors — including electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, builders, and similar trades — manage jobs, scheduling, quotes, invoices, crew assignments, and daily operations. We provide the service via web and mobile-friendly interfaces. We may update or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.

2. User responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and comply with applicable laws. You are responsible for the data you enter and for obtaining any consents required from your clients or employees.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use the service for illegal purposes, to harm others, or to violate anyone’s rights. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other accounts, or to disrupt or overload our systems. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms.

4. Payment terms

Fieldwright is billed at $49/month after a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start your trial. At the end of the trial period, you must subscribe to continue using the service. You authorize JobBuddy, LLC to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel. We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice. Subscriptions are non-refundable — if you cancel, you retain access until the end of your current billing period and will not be charged again. Payments are processed by Stripe.

5. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or business. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or $100 if you have not paid).

6. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these terms or for other reasons with reasonable notice where practical. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends. We may retain data as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated terms and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service.

9. SMS Communications

By providing a phone number, your clients consent to receive SMS notifications sent on your behalf through Fieldwright, including job confirmations, appointment reminders, quote follow-ups, and invoice reminders. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply. Clients can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP.

10. Automated Customer Communications

Fieldwright may send automated emails and SMS messages to your clients based on job, quote, and invoice activity. You are responsible for ensuring your clients have consented to receive communications and that their contact details are accurate. JobBuddy, LLC is not liable for messages sent to incorrect or outdated contact information.

11. Price Book

Price book data, including item names, descriptions, and pricing, is stored securely and is only accessible to members of your company account. JobBuddy, LLC does not share price book data with third parties except as required to provide the service.

12. Third-Party Integrations

Fieldwright integrates with third-party services including Twilio (SMS delivery) and QuickBooks Online (accounting sync, when enabled). Use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms of service. By enabling an integration, you authorise JobBuddy, LLC to exchange relevant data with that third party on your behalf.
