This policy describes how JobBuddy, LLC collects, uses, and protects your information in connection with Fieldwright.
1. Overview
JobBuddy, LLC (“we,” “our”) operates Fieldwright, a job operations platform for construction teams. We are committed to handling your data responsibly. This policy applies to our website and the Fieldwright application.
2. Data we collect
We collect: (a) account and profile data you provide (e.g., name, email, company name); (b) data you enter in the product (jobs, clients, quotes, invoices, logs, etc.); (c) usage data such as how you use the product; and (d) technical data such as IP address and device information. We do not sell your personal data.
3. How we use data
We use your data to provide, operate, and improve the service; to authenticate you and enforce our terms; to send service-related communications; and to comply with law. We may use aggregated or de-identified data for analytics and product improvement.
5. Third parties
We use trusted third parties to run the service: Clerk (authentication), Supabase (database and backend), Vercel (hosting), and optionally Stripe (payments) and Resend (email). Each processes data in accordance with their own privacy policies and our instructions. We do not share your data with advertisers.
6. Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. After account closure, we may retain data for a limited period for legal, security, or operational reasons, then delete or anonymize it.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update account and profile data in the app. For other requests or questions, contact us using the details below.

9. SMS and Phone Numbers
When you or your clients provide a phone number, it is stored securely and used solely to deliver SMS notifications you have configured in Fieldwright. Phone numbers are transmitted to Twilio, our SMS delivery provider, for the purpose of sending messages. We do not sell or share phone numbers for marketing purposes. 10. Client Data
We store client contact information (name, phone, email, address) that you enter on behalf of your clients. This data is used to deliver communications you configure and to populate quotes, invoices, and job records. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary consent from your clients for storing and using their contact information.
11. Sub-processors
JobBuddy, LLC uses the following sub-processors who may process personal data: Twilio — SMS delivery; Resend — Email delivery; Stripe — Payment processing; Supabase — Data storage; Clerk — Authentication; QuickBooks Online (Intuit) — Accounting sync (when enabled by you).
12. Data Retention
Communication logs (emails and SMS sent through Fieldwright) are retained for 12 months and then deleted. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support.
