Updating a job

Edit details, change the schedule, assign crew, and add notes after a job is created.

Edit the basics

Change the job name, client, site address, type, or estimated value.

  1. Open the job from Jobs

    Or use search if you can't find it.

  2. Tap the ⋯ icon in the header

    Pick Edit job from the menu.

  3. Update fields and Save

    You'll see a “Job updated” toast and the page refreshes.

Reschedule

  1. Find the Schedule card on the Overview

    It's the top-left card on the job page.

  2. Tap Edit schedule (or Reschedule)

    Set a new start date, optional end date, and time. Leave the time blank for all-day.

  3. Save

    Toast says “Job scheduled” and the calendar updates.

Assign or change crew

  1. Open the Crew card on the Overview

    It sits next to the Schedule card.

  2. Tap Edit crew

    Check the workers you want on this job. Uncheck anyone you want to remove.

  3. Save

    Toast says “Crew updated.” Each crew member can now see this job in their app.

Add notes

  1. Open the Field tab

    Tabs sit under the job title.

  2. Scroll to the Notes section

    Type and tap Add. Notes are append-only — older notes stay so you have a record.

Tip. Most edits don't have to be made from the desktop. The same actions work on the mobile job page — tap the ⋯ menu or scroll to the card you need.
