Estimates & invoices
Sending an estimate
Build an estimate, email it to your client, and let them accept or decline in one tap.
You need a client on the estimate before you can send it. You can save a draft without one and add the client later.
Open Estimates in the sidebar
Tap New estimate (top right).
Pick a client
Required to send. If the client doesn't exist yet, create one first from the Clients page.
Link a job (optional)
If the estimate is tied to a specific job, link it so the totals show up in the right place later.
Add line items, taxes, and notes
Each line item has a description, quantity, unit price, and optional tax flag. The total updates as you type.
Tap Save and send
A Send estimate window opens.
Confirm the recipient and tap Send
The recipient email defaults to the address on the client record. Update it if you want it to go somewhere else.
What your client sees
The customer gets a short email with a link. The link opens a clean page showing the estimate, totals, and two buttons: Accept estimate or Decline. You'll see the status flip in your dashboard the moment they tap one.
Want to test the email layout? Use Email me a preview in the Send estimate window. It sends only to your verified email and doesn't mark the estimate as sent.
