Estimates & invoices

How clients accept estimates and pay invoices

What your customer experiences. They don't need an account — everything works from a link in their email.

Every estimate and invoice you send includes a private link. Your customer opens it on their phone or laptop — no sign-up, no app to install.

Accepting an estimate

  1. Customer opens the email and taps the link

It loads a clean page with the estimate, line items, totals, and your company info.

  2. They tap Accept estimate or Decline

You'll see the status flip in your Estimates list as soon as they do.

  3. You get notified

Fieldwright lets you know the moment the customer accepts or declines.

Paying an invoice (with Stripe connected)

  1. Customer opens the invoice link from their email

They see line items, totals, and a Pay now button.

  2. They tap Pay now

Stripe handles the card or bank entry on a secure page.

  3. They get a receipt automatically

And the invoice flips to Paid in your dashboard the same moment.

Paying without Stripe

If you haven't connected Stripe, the public invoice page shows your phone, email, and any payment instructions you've added. Your customer pays by check, cash, ACH, or whatever you've agreed — then you mark the invoice Paid manually from the invoice page.

You stay in the loop. Every view, accept, decline, and payment shows up in your dashboard automatically — no need to ask your customer for an update.
