Estimates & invoices

Converting an accepted estimate to an invoice

Once your client accepts an estimate, turn it into an invoice in a few taps.

The accepted estimate stays in your records — converting just copies the line items into a new invoice you can edit and send.

  1. Open Estimates and tap the accepted one

Look for the Accepted status badge. You'll also see when the customer accepted it.

  2. Tap Convert to invoice

Fieldwright opens the invoice editor pre-filled with the same client, job, line items, and totals.

  3. Review and adjust

Update the due date, add a PO number, tweak a line item, or add notes specific to the invoice.

  4. Tap Save and send

Same send flow as a fresh invoice — see “Sending an invoice” for what your customer sees.

Heads up. The original estimate is preserved. If you ever need to reference what was agreed to, it's still on the client and the job.
