Connecting Stripe for online payments

Let customers pay invoices online with a card or bank transfer. Funds deposit directly to your bank.

Until Stripe is connected and active, the public invoice page won't show a Pay now button — customers see contact-to-pay copy instead.

Connect your account

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations

    Find the Stripe Connect card.

  2. Tap Connect Stripe

Fieldwright hands off to Stripe to collect your business and banking info.

  3. Fill out Stripe's form

Business name, address, EIN or SSN, and bank routing details. Usually takes a few minutes.

  4. Come back to Fieldwright

When you land back on Settings → Integrations, your Stripe status should read Active. If it says Pending, Stripe still needs a piece of info — tap the card to finish.

After it's active

  1. Every new invoice gets a Pay now button

On the public invoice link, your customer can pay by card. Bank transfers may also be offered depending on your Stripe settings.

  2. Payments deposit to your bank

Stripe handles deposits on their normal schedule (usually 2 business days). You'll see paid status in Fieldwright automatically.

  3. Refunds and disputes

Handled through Stripe directly. Refund status syncs back to the invoice in Fieldwright.

Heads up. Fieldwright uses Stripe Express. Standard Stripe processing fees apply per payment. You can review fees and payouts any time from your Stripe dashboard.
